Knanaya Community in U.K. got together in the hall attached to Parson Green Church in London on 10th of November 2001 and they formed an association which came to be known as United Kingdom Knanaya Catholic Association (UKKCA). UKKCA is 10 years old.
Although the post of President is always more glamorous and hence always steals the show, any association’s efficiency depends mainly on the hard work, dedication and sincerity of its Secretary. UKKCA has been privileged to have the service of efficient leaders as General Secretaries during the past 10 years.
As per provisions of UKKCA Constitution, although President is the head of the organization and more powerful, we acknowledge that General Secretary’s position is equally important when it comes to running the show. Hence these men should not be ignored. That is why Sneha Sandesham has decided to conduct another Opinion Poll to give you a chance to our readers and UKKCA members to recognise these individuals for their contribution to our Community during their tenure.
In the chronological order, they are:
Lijo John Parachudalayil (Kuruppanthara - Nottingham)
Instain Abraham Valayil (Palathuruthu/Kaipuzha - Birmingham)
Regi Parackal (Samkranthi Parish - Melbourne, Australia)
Aby Joseph Neduvampuzhayil (Neezhoor- Birmingham)
Steby Abraham, Cheriakal (Karimkunnam - Watford, London)
This Opinion Poll conducted by Sneha Sandesham is to assure these individuals that their valuable services and contributions have not been forgotten. We are giving Knanaya Makkal anywhere in the world to vote for one of them.
Participate in this Poll and assure your favourite UKKCA (past or present) General Secretary that you are grateful for his services.
